Day 01: Arrive Chennai
Pick up from the airport and transfer to hotel. Relax for the day.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Chennai - Tirupati
Drive to Tirupati by road covering 140 km. Check in at hotel on
arrival. Visit Lord Balaji Temple in the afternoon. Overnight stay at
Tirupati.
Day 03: Tirupati - Chennai (by road 140 km - 3 hour)
After breakfast, proceed for Chennai. Check in at hotel in Chennai.
Relax in the evening. Overnight stay at Chennai.
Day 04: Chennai - Mahabalipuram (by road 58 km - 1 hour)
After breakfast, drive to Mahabalipuram. Check in at hotel on arrival.
Sightseeing of Mahabalipuram in the afternoon. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Mahabalipuram
After breakfast, morning city sight seeing. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06: Mahabalipuram - Tanjore (by road 309 km - 7 hour)
After breakfast, drive to Tanjore. Reach and relax at hotel. Drive to
Tanjore in the afternoon. Drive for sightseeing of Tanjore. Overnight
stay at hotel.
Day 07: Tanjore - Trichy - Tanjore
After breakfast at hotel, excursion to Trichy. Visit the ancient
temples dedicated to Lord Ganapathi, 434 steps cut out into the rock
side and interspersed with shrines, lead to the temple. Return to hotel
and relax. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 08: Tanjore
Breakfast at hotel. See the beautiful Chola Temple of Brihadeeshwara.
Relax in the evening. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 09: Tanjore - Madurai (by road 183 km - 4 hour)
Leave for Madurai by road visiting Karaikudi (Chettinad) on the way. On
arrival, transfer to hotel and relax. Overnight stay at Madurai.
Day 10: Madurai
After breakfast, visit Madurai Meenakshi Temple (dedicated to the
consort of Lord Shiva with its towering Gopurams). Watch evening Aarti
at Meenakshi Temple. Overnight stay at Madurai.
Day 11: Rameshwaram Excursion
After breakfast, excursion to Rameshwaram, a city of swell and gentle
sand dunes, embellished with the delicacy of casurina trees and stark
palms. Return to Madurai by evening. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 12: Madurai - Trivandrum (by road 264 km - 6 hour)
After breakfast, leave for Trivandrum by road and reach in the late
evening. Relax at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 13: Trivandrum
After breakfast, start tour in the morning visiting the Sree Padmanabha
Swami Temple, Napier Museum, Chitralayam Arts Gallery, Zoological
gardens, Reptile house, Observatory and Kanakakunnu Palace. Overnight
stay at Trivandrum.
Day 14: Departure
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer for flight to the airport or station for
train to the next destination.
