Day 01: Arrival In Delhi
Our representative will meet you at the airport and will escort you to
the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing
After breakfast, you will set out for a sightseeing tour of Old &
New Delhi. The attractions include: Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid, Red fort,
India gate, Birla Temple, Government Buildings, Humayun Tomb and Qutab
Minar. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Leh
You will catch a flight to Leh and on reaching there you will be met
and taken to the hotel by our representatives. No sightseeing on this
day and you should try to acclimatize to the high altitudes. Rest at the
hotel for the night.
Day 04: Leh
After breakfast proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Shay palace,
Thiksey and Hemis monasteries and the Stok Palace. The Hemis monastery
boasts of an excellent library, well-preserved frescoes showing Kashmiri
influence and a Buddha figure. The Stok palace has been converted into a
museum exhibiting precious stones, thangkas, coins, royal crowns and
dresses and prayer instruments.
Day 05: Leh - Khardung La Pass - Leh
After breakfast embark on an unforgettable drive to Khardung La Pass
(18,300ft), the highest motorable road in the world (subject to road
opening). Look around and marvel at the spectacular views of the mighty
Himalayas. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06: Departure from Ladakh
Transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destinations.
