Day 01: Delhi - Srinagar
Upon your arrival at the Srinagar Airport from Delhi, our executives
will transfer you to Deluxe Houseboats. In the afternoon enjoy a Shikara
ride on the famous Dal Lake with visits to floating and Vegetable
gardens etc. Also witness the crafts of walnut woodcarving and making of
papier-mache. Dinner and overnight stay in Deluxe Houseboats.
Day 02: In Srinagar
In the morning set out for a sightseeing tour of Mughal Gardens and
Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built in 1632 AD by Asif Khan, brother
in law of Jehangir. Also visit the Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built
by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are
situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains presenting
a majestic background. The distance from Srinagar to the gardens is
about 12 and 15 km respectively. Rest for the night in Deluxe
Houseboats.
Day 03: In Srinagar
You have this day to yourself. You can either go for shopping or pursue
other individual interests. Srinagar is a shopping haven with shops in
Lal Chowk, Badshah Chowk and Polo View selling traditional handicrafts
of Jammu and Kashmir. Kashmiri shawls embossed with intricate embroidery
work are a popular shopping item. Dinner and overnight stay in Deluxe
Houseboats.
Day 04: Srinagar - Delhi
After breakfast transfer to Airport and catch a flight for Delhi.
