Day 01: Delhi - Jammu
Depart from Delhi by train to Jammu. Jammu was the erstwhile stronghold of Dogra Kings and the landscape abounds with popular temples and secluded forest retreats. The temple of Maha Kali or Bahu Wali Mata is the most prominent of the Jammu temples and it is regarded a seat of great mystical power. The Ragunath Temple built by Maharaja Gulab Singh is renowned for the various incarnations of Lord Vishnu.

Day 02: Jammu - Katra
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Katra, which is regarded the base for Vaishno Devi tours. One can go on a shopping spree of religious objects in this hill town. The adventurous ones can set out on a trekking expedition in the nearby mountains.

Day 03: Katra - Vaishnodevi
From Katra travel by foot to reach the famous Vaishno Devi temple. Located amid lofty peaks, Vaishno Devi is one of the important Hindu temples in India. The shrine, reputed for magical powers, attracts thousands of devotees every year who traverse a treacherous path to attain the Devi's blessings. Because of the steady tourist influx throughout the year, the place boasts of excellent accommodation facilities.

Day 04: Vaishnodevi - Katra
Depart from Vaishno Devi to Katra. You can spend the rest of the day with sightseeing trips in and around Katra. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05: Karta - Jammu
After arriving in Jammu, leave for Delhi by the Shatabdi Express.
