Day 01: Arrival at Cochin
On arrival at Cochin airport our representative will transfer you to
hotel for overnight stay. Rest of the day will be at leisure.
Day 02: Cochin Sightseeing
Breakfast follows a whole day sightseeing of Cochin covering the Dutch
Palace, Jewtown, Santa Cruz Basilica and St. Francis Church. In the
evening you will enjoy a performance of Kathakali dance. Overnight stay
will be at your hotel.
Day 03: Cochin
After breakfast you will relax for a while and then go on a daytrip to
the Elephant Sanctuary and later to the Kathakali School. Evening will
be free for leisure. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Cochin.
Day 04: Cochin - Thekkady
After breakfast you will be picked up from the hotel and be driven to
Thekkady through tea, coffee and spice plantations in the Nilgiri Hills.
Upon reaching Thekkady you will check into the hotel. Overnight stay
will be at hotel in Thekkady.
Day 05: Thekkady
In the morning you will visit the spice plantation to explore the
nature in this beautiful part of Kerala. In the afternoon you will be
free or take an optional boat ride over Lake Periyar. Overnight stay
will be at hotel in Thekkady.
Day 06: Thekkady - Kumarakom
The next destination on your Kerala nature tour is Kumarakom. You will
drive down to the coastal region and to reach Kumarakom. In the evening
you will cruise on the Vembanad Lake in a houseboat. Overnight will be
at your hotel/resort in Kumarakom.
Day 07: Kumarakom
After breakfast in the morning you will cruise on the backwaters on a
houseboat. Afternoon will be free to relax and you can try an Ayurvedic
massage, for which Kerala is so very famous.
Day 08: Kumarakom - Marari Beach
After breakfast we will take you on a speedboat across the lake to
explore the Arabian Sea and the nearby coastal resorts. You will feel
completely in the lap of nature on the unspoiled beaches and the coconut
groves. Upon reaching the Marari beach you will relax for rest of the
day. Overnight stay will be at the resort.
Day 9: Marari Beach
After breakfast you will relax at the beach resort and later go for an
Ayurvedic Massage to rejuvenate yourself on the Kerala nature tour. Rest
of the day will be at leisure. Overnight stay will be at the beach
resort.
Day 10: Marari Beach
You will have another day of rejuvenation as we take you for a Yoga
session that helps your mind and body to relax. Rest of the time will be
at leisure. Overnight will be at the resort in the Marari beach.
Day 11: Marari - Cochin
We come to the end of your Kerala nature tour and it is time to head
for your next destination with sweet and wonderful memories of Kerala.
Our representative will drive you to the Cochin Airport for your onward
flight.
